The Socius team is headed by Mr AVS Prasad. Mr Prasad possesses a unique mix of Engineering and Management skills being a Mechanical Engineer with a PG in Management from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He started his career as a Management Trainee at Bokaro Steel Plant, SAIL. He later moved to Bhilai Steel Plant, SAIL from where he resigned as AGM to take up his MBA. Post his MBA, he has headed and started several operations for Harsco Metals in India. During this period he has gained an detailed understanding of the technologies of Resource Recovery and Recycling in the Steel Industry, be it in the field of scrap processing, slag processing or agglomeration techniques.
